You may have had green smoothies before, but this one is so delicious you will crave one every day. For real. Grab your blender and rev it up now. -Ellen
Ingredients:
1 cup fat-free milk or milk of your choice
4 oz. Chobani Greek Yogurt – I like peach or cherry.
1 frozen banana (Highly recommend peeling the banana and breaking it into several pieces before freezing.)
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
6 cups of baby spinach
Optional: additional fruit like a couple of strawberries or blueberries
Directions:
In a blender, put milk, yogurt, frozen banana, peanut butter, and any additional fruit and blend well. I find it is easier to add the spinach slowly while the blender is running. I have a fairly old blender and it bogs down easily. Just remove the center insert from the lid and throw in a couple leaves at a time. You can give it a little more froth by throwing in about 5 ice cubes at the end.
This sounds yummy and would give me a different taste for a change. I have eaten enough plain Greek yogurt to sink a battle ship. I can’t complain–I have lost 100lbs. so far.
