Ed’s Whiskey Sour Slush

Everyone LOVES this drink. Honestly. So much so that my IRL friends have been begging, borrowing, and generally making fools of themselves for the recipe. Well, here it is! You can make it with whatever whiskey you like, but I’m an Irish girl so we always add Jameson.

Whiskey Sour Slush | A St. Patrick's Day tradition that is a thirst quenching beverage all year long! Sisterhood of the Sensible Moms

12 oz can of MinuteMaid Lemonade or other frozen lemonade concentrate (softened)

3 cans of water

1 can (12 ounces) of Jameson

1 1/2 coffee scoops Lipton Ice Tea Mix Powdered with Sugar

Splash of Orange Juice (I like about 1/2 of a small glass but this is where you customize it to what you like)

Take all the ingredients and stir together in a medium sized container with a lid. If you are a Dwyer or just want to pretend you are one, then you will mix it in the medium-sized Fisher’s popcorn container from your vacation down the shore in Ocean City, MD. Once everything is mixed nicely, then pop it into your freezer for 12 to 24 hours.  You really should hold off as long as you can, but I understand, I really do, if you can barely wait the twelve hours.

Then scoop out a big scoopful or two into your favorite glass, grab a spoon, and sip away.

Irish Heaven. Thanks, Dad! Erin
