I found the original recipe on Pinterest, and it just convinced me once again how worthwhile my time spent on that site can be. I just made this for a group of friends over Labor Day, and it was a big hit. It was also inexpensive, ridiculously easy to put together, and I didn’t have to run out to buy any of the ingredients—a huge bonus. Did I mention how yummy it was?

INGREDIENTS
Hummus (you can make your own, but I use the store-bought kind) I like Sabra brand, and I used their original recipe here, but I think you could use any flavor you like.
Cucumber, peeled and chopped
Red pepper, chopped
Olives, chopped (Don’t be stingy. California olives are good here, but Greek olives are better. That’s just the way it is.)
Feta
Onion
Fresh Dill
DIRECTIONS
Spread the bottom of an 8 inch square pan with 1-2 inches of hummus. I like a lot of dip, so I definitely laid it on thick.
Sprinkle the veggies evenly over the hummus.
Sprinkle feta evenly over the veggies (about a 1/4 of a container).
Cut sprigs of fresh dill (about 2 TBSP) and sprinkle evenly over the feta.
Serve with pita chips (I love Stacy’s. For me, there’s no substitute.) You can also serve with celery.
