We are reluctantly leaving summer behind with our feet dragging. It just seems so unfair that the weather is so gorgeous, but our schedules are back to their school year soul crushing ways. And Ellen’s pool is finally finished! Remember when we wrote about her Ghetto Chic Swimming Pool Design?
Well, just look at it now! It is ghetto no more!
But alas, the days of enjoying it are coming to an end. At least Finding the Funny is back to bring us some laughs and entertainment. Maybe we can fit in just a few more cannonballs in the mean time.
Just to tell ya I would still be spending all the time I could in that pool.. Period. My husband and I have talked about putting in one that is enclosed for year round use if we get a decent settlement on our wreck. Of course we can’t do anything until released from the Doctor and we are 2 months out now.. sighs..

That pool is beautiful!!! I wanna come play! But I also wouldn’t scoff at swimming in the ghetto version. That could be fun too!

Well, damn. Arriving to the party this month a little late (as usual). I’ll meet you in the gazebo in 5 with mojitos.
*The pool turned out GORGEOUS!*

I AM AFRAID OF THE WATER, BUT I COULD MAKE MYSELF GET IN THIS POOL. I WOULD THINK I WAS ON VACATION IN SOME EXOTIC PLACE.
Oh Ellen that is stunning!!!! Congratulations!! Just beautiful, I’m not one for ever feeling jealous, but I got to say I just got a very little pang!! Lol! xo

It’s the pavilion. Classes it up. 🙂 We got it because we get wicked crosswinds that have killed many an umbrella in our time here. Ellen
When we built our home in 2010, we put a swimming pool in the plans.
It’s still there…on the plans. The project is too daunting for me to even consider at this point. Congrats on completing yours.
